Our Vision

The Wirral Online is a unique project dedicated to becoming the Wirral's most comprehensive directory for all the business websites on the peninsular.

Unlike any other directories, our aim is to only list Wirral-based businesses and companies that have their own websites.

This means that potential customers will have access to more valuable information than just a telephone number and address - they will have the ability to see what a business is all about (via their website) which in turn gives them more useful search results.

We believe that the web has evolved, and the days of simple directory listings are a thing of the past. The great advantage of the Internet is that everyone can have an online presence.

The Future

As well as our vision for a website-only directory dedicated solely to the Wirral, we are also currently working on a Wirral Forum which will be an area of our website where businesses and customers alike will be able to chat about virtually anything - whether it's related to Wirral business or not.

And from July 2010 we will have a Business of the Month feature where we will randomly pick a Wirral business (from our featured listings) and feature them prominently on the front page of our website. We will also write an article and include an interview on the chosen business and they will have a dedicated page with all this information for the whole month.

After the month has transpired, they will be added to our Business of the Month archive which will always be viewable from our site.
